Start Your Holiday Weekend with an Intention
JOIN ME AND A FEW OTHERS THIS WEDNESDAY FOR SOME CONTEMPLATION AND GRATITUDE
In the US, the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is upon us. It’s typically a time for families to gather, friends to congregate, and traditional foods prepared and consumed.

Personally, I’ve always had some issues around the term, Thanksgiving. In my experience, Thanksgiving implies there is someone or something to be thanked. Since I personally do not believe in a benevolent being, usually attributable to a deity of some sort, guiding and planning our lives.
In fact, I avoid using the word thankful and prefer gratitude instead. 🙏🏼
You may hold a different view, and I respect both your position and your right to adhere to such a belief.
What I think we can agree on is that whatever intention we choose to place on this weekend of celebration with family and friends, that it be honorable and dedicated to peace.
